Please excuse the lack of updates, as we've been very busy with the children! Since licensing, the Teach and Tumble troops have been on numerous field trips, spent many hours laughing together, and the best part of it all...the children do not even realize how much knowledge they've taken in thoughout the months!
We are now preparing for the new school year as our "soft opening" comes to an end.
As of today we DO have limited availability for September.

We cannot thank everyone enough. So many families/businesses in Port Washington have shown tremendous support and encouragement throughout this strenuous past year.
Thank you to our regional OCFS office for all their help and support, and OCFS Syracuse for facilitating our license. We have received exceptional services and motivation from the Child Care Council of Nassau and staff, The Early Years Institute, and the LINCK(Long Island Nature Collaboration for Kids) program, a branch of EYI.
Special thanks to all licensed Port Washington child care providers. It is a pleasure being able to work with everyone towards the same goal, providing high quality care. Your support and advice has been very helpful.

New York State called us again with more good news and we want to share it with everyone. Our licensing process has been moving along swiftly. That may be hard to believe considering we applied for the license ONE YEAR AGO...but...we remain very hopeful! Please check for updates as the excitement builds for the license.

All pictures are from on-site care here at Teach and Tumble Daycare! During the pre-licensing time only two children can be cared for at a time, by law. Spots for part-time care are available as of now. To take advantage of this time to ease the transition for your child...CALL NOW!!
Part-time care is based on a first come, first serve basis!!

Happy and Healthy New Year to all!
2009 was all about hard work. Now with the application finalized, two classrooms finished, hours of training, and almost a year of preparation........We are very much looking forward to a positive year as we near opening our doors to the Port Washington community. Rather than an Open House, we will be hosting private viewings of our facility with more individualized time per family. Please email or call us to set up an appointment.
